How to Search Using Keywords

Please note the following behavior:

Punctuation and Special Characters

You may use Space as a separator to find jobs that contain all the keywords you specified. (for example, input Sales Manager will get results which contain both the keywords Sales and Manager)

• Sales Manager
• Assistant sales manager
• Sales assistant manager
• Manager of Sales

You may use Comma (,) or Semi-colon (;) as a separator to find jobs. (for example, input Sales, Manager will get results which contain either one of the keywords)

• Sales Manager
• Senior IT manager
• Assistant sales executives
• Manager of Sales

You may use Double Quote (") to get result with keywords as a whole phrase. (for example, input "Sales Manager" will get results which contain exactly "Sales Manager")

• Sales Manager
• Senior sales manager
• Assistant sales manager

(* Note: You will not able to search Sales Managers or Sales Supervisor / Manager.)

Other punctuation and other special characters like period (.), colon (:), bar (|) etc. will be ignored in the search.

Minimum Search Length

• Please enter 2 characters or above for keyword search (for example: input z is not a valid search)

Case Sensitivity

• Keyword search is case insensitive. (for example, input accountant will get results as ACCounTant)

Conjunctions

• Conjunctions including OR, AND, -, + are NOT supported.

Wildcard Searches

• Using wildcard characters like * and ? in the search terms are NOT supported.

Reserved word Searches

• Keyword search ignores reserved words such as a, the, with, etc.

Search Fields

You may define the scope of your search by clicking a radio button under the Keywords field.

Position

• If you are looking for a very specific position or job title, select this option. (for example, search Sales supervisor)

Company

• If you are interested in a particular company or employer, select this option. (for example, search Openrice, JobsDB)

All Text

• If you wish your search to be more expansive, select this option. (for example, searches JobsDB, IT will get results which contain JobsDB or IT in any one of these fields: Position, Reference No, Company Name, Company Description, Job Description & Requirements and Keywords

A search for Analyst Programmer, Web Developer in Position field will get results which position title contains [Analyst and Programmer] or [Web and Developer]
